Le Chiuse is one of the most historically important vineyards in Montalcino. It is where the first clone of Brunello was ever grown. It is still part of the Biondi Santi family who are credited with the introduction of Brunello two centuries ago. Today Simonetta, Nicolo and son Lorenzo produce some of the most impressive wines from Montalcino.

Le Chiuse have just released their 2010 Brunello Riserva, 10 years after the vintage. Suckling calls 2010 the vintage of the century and Wine Enthusiast have just awarded this wine an amazing 99 points

Intense, ruby red in color with garnet hues, this very aromatic wine shows violet, prune, pepper, spice and licorice on the nose. Full-bodied, savory with fruit and spices confirmed on this refined palate. Long and silky.
