The producer

Champagne Autreau de Champillon

The Autreau family has been in Champillon since 1670 and were originally artists before turning to vines. Gerard Autreau began keeping his grapes to make his own champagne in the 1950s; his son Eric and then Laurent followed him. The grower estate (RM) now farms 33.5 hectares across Champillon, Dizy and Hautvillers (1er Cru), Ay and Chouilly (Grand Cru) and Verneuil, under HVE3 and Viticulture Durable certification.
