The 2017 Civettaio Maremma is garnet in colour with deep intensity. It has fresh with fruity aromas with a mouth full of plum and red berries with a hint of licorice and soft rounded tannins.

Il Civettaio is a small organic farm and agriturismo at Civitella Paganico in the Maremma, bought by Gregorio Dell'Adami de Tarczal in 1998. Across about 30 hectares of vines, olive groves and woodland it makes a handful of unfiltered, ICEA-certified organic wines - mostly Sangiovese - plus extra virgin olive oil.
