Tasting note
Light and bright ruby red colour. On the nose elegant floral notes of geranium and rose mixed with delicate hints of strawberry and pomegranate and a finish that recalls pleasant salty notes. On the palate the well-balanced with vibrant and soft perceptions, conferring a sense of lightness enlivened by a finish that brings back juicy notes of pomegranate. Organic certified and vegan

- Vinification
- Hand-picked into small crates in the early morning (2nd ten days of October); destemmed and gently crushed. Alcoholic fermentation c. 12 days in truncated-cone steel vats with daily punch-downs.

- 12 months in French oak tonneaux (30% of the wine in steel tanks); at least 6 months in bottle at a constant 18°C.

Generazione Alessandro is the Etna project of cousins Benedetto, Anna and Benedetto Alessandro, the fourth generation of the family behind Alessandro di Camporeale near Palermo. From 2015 they bought and planted about ten hectares on the volcano's north-eastern slope across four contrade, making single-vineyard Etna DOC wines from Nerello Mascalese and Carricante; their first wine, Trainara 2018, won Gambero Rosso Tre Bicchieri.
