The producer
Mirabella
Franciacorta, LombardyFounded 197945 ha of vineyardmirabellafranciacorta.it
Mirabella was founded in 1979 by oenologist Teresio Schiavi and friend Giacomo Cavalli inside an old spinning mill at Paderno Franciacorta, among the first houses to bet on the Franciacorta name. Today Teresio and his sons Alessandro and Alberto run 45 hectares of DOCG vineyard across Paderno, Passirano, Bornato and Provaglio d'Iseo, and are known for using Pinot Bianco (rare in Franciacorta) and for long lees ageing well beyond the DOCG minimums.
