Tasting note
2016 is a five star vintage. The 2015 Rosso is typical of the fine wines from this estate. It has aromas of cherry and ripe red fruit, cocoa, licorice and spice. Quality tannins with good acidity. Medium to long finish

Querce Bettina is a small family estate on the south-west side of Montalcino at about 440 m, bought by Sandra Barenghi and Roberto Moretti in 1990 and planted to Sangiovese in 1999. Production is tiny - roughly 6,500 bottles of Brunello and 9,000 of Rosso a year, with a Riserva only in selected years. The 2021 Brunello won a Gold Medal (95 pts) at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2026.
