What to say

Ruby red colour with garnet tinges, this wine bursts with powerful yet refined aromas of blackcurrants, blackberries, cherries, and raspberries, beautifully complemented by spicy notes from the wood.
After a century making Ferrari Trentodoc, the Lunelli family turned to still wine in the 1980s, first in the mountain vineyards of Tenuta Margon in Trentino, then at Podernovo in the Pisan hills of Tuscany and, from 2001, at Castelbuono in Montefalco, Umbria.
It is complex and warm, with a concentrated structure and very elegant tannins.

After a century making Ferrari Trentodoc, the Lunelli family turned to still wine in the 1980s, first in the mountain vineyards of Tenuta Margon in Trentino, then at Podernovo in the Pisan hills of Tuscany and, from 2001, at Castelbuono in Montefalco, Umbria. The Umbrian estate is crowned by the Carapace, a winery sculpted by artist Arnaldo Pomodoro and completed in 2012, and its vineyards have been converted to organic farming.
