Tasting note
The 2018 Nobile di Montepulciano is a ruby colour with a nose of fragrant berries flowers, spices, tobacco and licorice. It is delicate and elegant with unobtrusive acid and tannins. It is supple yet firm with a medium to long finish.

Valdipiatta
Montepulciano, Tuscany22 ha of vineyardvaldipiatta.it
Tenuta Valdipiatta farms 22 hectares of vineyard in the heart of the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano zone, certified organic since 2018 and managed as a closed ecosystem with cover crops and home-made compost. Its traditional wines are Sangiovese-led, with the single-vineyard Vigna d'Alfiero (planted almost half a century ago by the estate's first cellarman, Alfiero Carpini) made from pure Sangiovese. Since the 1990s the estate has worked with Bordeaux consultants, most recently Eric Boissenot.
