The 2017 Poggio al Commessario is a Super Tuscan style. Elegantly intense nose with red fruit, notes of Mediterranean scrub, juicy. Soft to taste, persistent, light sapidity. Elegant wine, soft, round body. It is a typical Super Tuscan blend of 60% sangiovese, 20% cabernet sauvignon and 20% merlot

Il Civettaio is a small organic farm and agriturismo at Civitella Paganico in the Maremma, bought by Gregorio Dell'Adami de Tarczal in 1998. Across about 30 hectares of vines, olive groves and woodland it makes a handful of unfiltered, ICEA-certified organic wines - mostly Sangiovese - plus extra virgin olive oil.
