Château Barbebelle is one of the oldest wineries in the Aix en Provence region. The estate has been in the Herbeau family for four generations. 16 km north of Aix-en-Provence. Rated the top rose’ of the world by Decanter.
A light to medium-bodied red wine with vibrant aromas of ripe red fruits like strawberries and raspberries, complemented by delicate floral notes of rose petals or violets. On the palate, smooth and refreshing with juicy fruit flavors and subtle earthy or herbal undertones.

Château Barbebelle is one of the oldest wine estates of the Aix countryside, 16 km north of Aix-en-Provence on the road to the Luberon. Four generations of the Herbeau family have farmed its 50 hectares of clay-limestone hillside vines at around 370 metres, now led by Madeleine Herbeau and her husband Valentin, with oenologist Thomas Benard. The whole estate is certified organic.
