Pierluigi Sgariglia is the driving force in producing outstanding examples of the famous Super Tuscan wines of Bolgheri. This winemaker is a boutique family producer. With his vineyards next to the iconic San Guido vineyards (Sassicaia) he is blessed with ideal terroir.

Campo al Noce is Pierluigi Sgariglia's small estate between Bolgheri and Castagneto Carducci, on the Tuscan coast where sea breezes and the wooded hills behind shape the microclimate. The reds are Bordeaux-style blends of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Syrah, the whites Vermentino-based.
