Winemaker
Massimo Meneghello Canoso (oenologist, family) and Marco Sartori (oenologist) per producer history page; owner since 2016 Giovanni Bartucci

Canoso wines was founded in 1876, when the family’s fields were converted to vineyards. They rapidly established themselves as the reference winemaker in the area. This sapid and elegant wine was born in the Veneto region, East of the city of Verona, in one of the world’s territories with the highest viticultural density. The ideal land to produce Soave Classico

Tasting Notes. Straw yellow with golden reflections. Intense and complex aroma. The mineral and iodate notes of basaltic soil leave room for intriguing scents of lavender, kiwi and melon. The taste is fresh and precise with great elegance and balanced acidity.

Producer

The Meneghello Canoso family has grown grapes on the volcanic hills of Monteforte d'Alpone since 1876, selling wine in bulk until the first bottling in 1990 from the 'Ca' del Vento' vineyard. In 2016 entrepreneur Giovanni Bartucci joined the family and rebuilt the brand with a young team, and in 2024 the Soave Classico Superiore 'Verso' earned the estate its first Tre Bicchieri.
