Benedetto Alessandro

Generazione Alessandro is the creation of three cousins – Benedetto, Anna, and Benedetto – who, together with their fathers, oversee the operations of the family winery located in the province of Palermo. Drawing from their years of experience and skill sets acquired at the Alessandro di Camporeale company, they decided to venture into a new project on Etna, a region renowned for its incredibly varied viticultural characteristics resulting in the creation of wines that boast a distinct and robust identity.

This wine displays an onion-skin pink hue with delicate coppery reflections. On the nose, elegant aromas of small red fruits and raspberry intertwine with citrus notes reminiscent of Tarocco orange, gradually evolving toward typical Mediterranean nuances of myrtle and juniper. Subtle toasted hints, recalling hazelnuts, complete the aromatic profile. On the palate, a fresh and juicy entry unfolds into a long, flowing, and pleasantly soft sip that envelops the mouth. The wine concludes with a mineral and dry finish, delicately enriched by refined toasted notes. Organic certified and vegan

Producer

Generazione Alessandro is the Etna project of cousins Benedetto, Anna and Benedetto Alessandro, the fourth generation of the family behind Alessandro di Camporeale near Palermo. From 2015 they bought and planted about ten hectares on the volcano's north-eastern slope across four contrade, making single-vineyard Etna DOC wines from Nerello Mascalese and Carricante; their first wine, Trainara 2018, won Gambero Rosso Tre Bicchieri.
