With a rich history rooted in the production of traditional and high-quality spirits, Distilleria Caffo was originally founded in 1915 by the Caffo family in the Calabria region of southern Italy. The distillery is renowned for its production of a variety of spirits, including Grappa, Limoncello and Amaro, a type of herbal liqueur that is often consumed as a digestif. Distilleria Caffo’s commitment to quality and tradition is evident in its meticulous production processes and the use of high-quality ingredients. The company has built a reputation for excellence over the years and continues to be a respected name in the world of Italian spirits.

Limunì, a southern Limoncello, is created by infusing alcohol with the peels of untreated lemons ripened under the warm Calabrese sun. The lemons, sourced from farms near Distilleria Caffo, are processed on the same day they are harvested. For the Limunì infusion, only the most aromatic part of the fruit, the yellow outer peel, is used and steeped in neutral alcohol.
