The Lunaria winery applies both organic and biodynamic agriculture. It is a leader in organic and biodynamic cultivation being named winery of the year at Vinitaly. Biodynamics is governed by strict regulations that set the standard of quality. It follows a control exercised by Demeter Italy
Aromatic malvasia (85%) and other authorized grapes cultivated in guyot and pergola “abruzzese” shape on dry and windy soils. Grapes are left on the vines, after a careful selection they are de-stemmed and crushed. The must is fermented in stainless steel tanks with its indigenous yeasts. The wine is a straw yellow color, in the nose intense scents of grapes, tropical fruits and white flowers; The palate is slightly sweet and warm, but still fresh and savory. The wine is organic, biodynamic and vegan
