Located in Bolgheri, Tuscany, Satta is a renowned producer of high-quality wines that reflect the region’s rich viticultural heritage. Established in 1983, the winery combines traditional methods with innovative approaches to craft exceptional wines that embody the terroir’s unique character. Michele Satta, the founder, is a pioneer in the area, being one of the first to experiment with grape varieties like Syrah and Viognier alongside the classic Bordeaux blends. The estate is celebrated for its dedication to sustainable practices and its commitment to creating authentic, expressive wines that have earned international acclaim.

The wine offers intense aromas of dark fruits like blackberries and plums, with spicy notes of black pepper and cloves, alongside earthy and floral hints. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-structured, featuring ripe dark fruit flavors, velvety tannins, and balanced acidity, with layers of licorice, cocoa, and balsamic. The finish is long and complex.
