“Exciting on the palate with a great alternation of juiciness and invigorating acidity, beautifully fruity and slightly nutty through to the long finish.”

Founded in 1939, Monte del Frà is a family-owned winery in the heart of Veneto, near the historic village of Custoza. With a deep connection to the land, the winery combines traditional winemaking heritage with a modern, quality-driven approach. Their vineyards extend across some of the region’s most renowned areas, producing elegant and expressive wines that capture the character of Veneto and its diverse terroirs.
Rich and aromatic, with notes of ripe pear, white peach, citrus and delicate floral aromas, this elegant Custoza Superiore is beautifully textured and fresh on the palate, with vibrant acidity, subtle minerality and a long, refined finish.

Massimo Bonomo rented the Monte del Frà farm at Custoza in 1958, on land monks had cultivated since 1492. In 1988 his sons Eligio and Claudio committed the family entirely to viticulture, and the third generation now runs some 180 hectares across Custoza, Lugana, Bardolino and Valpolicella Classica (Tenuta Lena di Mezzo, acquired 2006). The winery works under certified SQNPI integrated production.
