Strong and balanced, with a ruby red hue accented by garnet highlights. Bouquet of subtle notes of black cherry, plum, and spices. Complex and enveloping on the palate with a dry profile.

Secondo Marco is the Fumane estate of Marco Speri, fifth generation of the Speri family of Valpolicella, who left the family business to make wines in his own style. He trains the vines on a Y-shaped pergola for light and airflow and vinifies in cement and large oak, aiming for freshness and drinkability rather than weight.
