Mariangela Parrilla

The Parilla family have been the owners of the Tenuta del Conte winery in Cirò for the past four generations. Mariangela, Giuseppe and Caterina inherited from her father, Francesco, fifteen hectares of vineyard together with the passion and respect for the land. The vineyards have been managed organically since 2010 in order to preserve the environmental balance and harmony of the terroir.

Made entirely from Gaglioppo grapes, the Cirò Rosso has cherry, strawberry notes, is full bodied, abundant and dynamic, with balanced acidity and tannins. Organic

Producer
Francesco Parrilla planted the family's vineyards at Cirò Marina in the early 1960s, and the estate remains in the hands of his children Mariangela, Giuseppe and Caterina. Mariangela has made the wines since 2011 from the native Gaglioppo and Greco Bianco, with spontaneous fermentations and no filtration. The 15 hectares are farmed without herbicides or chemical treatments.
