Organic Tasting notes This Montepulciano d`Abruzzo is an intense ruby red in colour with plenty of red fruits and spices on the nose. The palate is soft and round with ripe cherry, plum and a spicy, toasty note from 6 months ageing in oak barriques.

Cantina Orsogna is a growers' cooperative founded in 1964 at the foot of the Majella in Chieti province, which moved to organic farming in 1995 and biodynamics in 2005 and won Vinitaly's Best Italian Winery award in 2012. The Vola Volé line is its bee-and-biodiversity range: organic, Biodiversity Friend certified, fermented with indigenous yeasts selected from the pollen of the local flora.
